CONTROLLER, renovations unlimited, inc.
Steven Pehrkon oversees the financial management of Renovations Unlimited, Inc., Murilllo/Malnati Group LLC, and affiliated companies. His holistic approach emphasizes integrating systems, including software and accounting systems, between the companies. Mr. Pehrkon also oversees condominium documents production for Murillo/Malnati Group LLC projects, including securing plats, registering condominiums, developing fee structures and projected operating budgets, finalizing legal documentation, and forming condominium associations.
Before joining Renovations Unlimited, Inc. and Murilllo/Malnati Group LLC, Mr. Pehrkon spent six years at Peake Management, a Northern Virginia-based property management company. Starting out as a property manager, Mr. Pehrkon rose through the company to the Senior Accountant position. In that capacity, he oversaw a staff that managed the finances for a portfolio of 450 properties, with over $9,000,000 in annual receipts.
Mr. Pehrkon graduated with dual degrees, a BS in Economics and a BA in History, from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. He earned honors in both programs.
