CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR
Contract Administrator for Renovations Unlimited, Inc., a Washington, DC-based general contracting firm and affiliate of the Murillo/Malnati Group, Mr. Walencikowski is responsible for the development and coordination of scopes of work, specifications management, submittals, RFIs, change orders, subcontracts, and the prime contract for renovation, restoration, and preservation projects. Mr. Walencikowski also manages all weekly reporting development and distribution to owners, project managers, design professionals, and field personnel for the company’s real estate development and construction projects.
Prior to joining Renovations Unlimited, Inc., from 2003 to 2005, Mr. Walencikowski was Writer/Editor for The American Institute of Architects in Washington, DC where he was responsible for writing and editing AIA Contract Document drafts and their instructions. He was also responsible for writing and editing instructional and promotional material for publications and the AIA’s website.
From 2001 to 2003, Mr. Walencikowski was an Architectural Assistant for Archetype, a leading specialty architectural firm in Washington, DC where he was responsible for drafting and editing bid packages, project specifications, and field reports for multiple ongoing projects. During his tenure, he also coordinated all aspects of construction management, edited, produced and distributed the firm’s informational and promotional materials, and oversaw the company’s accounting functions.
Prior to his role at Archetype, Mr. Walencikowski was Copywriter and Editor for Third level Data where he managed a database of over 1 million members with 100 plus data-points. He wrote the procedures manual for the advertising operations department.
Mr. Walencikowski has a BA in Architectural Studies and American Civilization from Brown University.
